(Scroll down for video) A mother shot and killed her own daughter because she wanted to prevent aliens from taking her away, according to police in Virginia.
The Bath County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 27-year-old Darla Elizabeth Hise, after being accused of killing 6-year-old Abigail Grace.
Hise has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, use of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, and having a firearm while in possession of the drugs.
She was booked into the Western Virginia Regional Jail, and is being held without bail.
According to the police investigation, Hise consumed marijuana, meth and amphetamines until she became incoherent.
Hise then grabbed a shotgun and shot her daughter in front of her 3-year-old son. Hise then called police.
During questioning, Hise told police that she wanted to save her daughter from aliens so she sent her to heaven.
Hise also said that she had aliens in her stomach and was looking for ways to get them to leave.
